Due to significant developments which have taken place over the past few years, Rubis has undertaken a strategic review of its business portfolio with the aim of improving its competitive edge.
After being restructured, developed and made profitable since its acquisition in 2007, the LPG distribution business in Germany still remains marginal relatively to the Group, with no potential for acquisitions.
This analysis results in today’s announcement of the disposal of Vitogaz Deutschland to WESTFA Vertriebs- und Verwaltungs-GmbH which will have no significant impact on Rubis’ results.
Developments and acquisitions made over the past few years in Switzerland, Spain and more recently in Portugal in LPG distribution witness the Group commitment in this business and illustrate Rubis’ strategic line.
